I am a PhD candidate in the department of philosophy at Tulane University in New Orleans. I am a 2025-2026 Center for Ethics Graduate Fellow at Tulane University’s Murphy Institute. In Spring 2024, I was a visiting PhD student at the University of Iowa, hosted by David Stern. In 2023-2024, I was an RLST Gaisman Dissertation-Teaching Fellow at Tulane University. From 2022-2024, I was an Adam Smith fellow at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University.

Prior to Tulane, I was a graduate student at the City University of New York’s Graduate Center (2020-2021), worked as a public policy analyst and researcher, completed an MA degree at the University of Chicago with concentrations in philosophy and cultural policy, and completed a BA at St. John’s College in Annapolis, MD.

My academic work has been published by the University of Chicago Press, De Gruyter, MacFarland and Co., and Gatherings: The Heidegger Circle Annual, among others.

Alongside philosophy, I compose and record music, spend too much time cooking and brewing various things, and spend not enough time camping with my wife Giuliana and dog Merlin.
