Tulane German Philosophy Workshop
The Tulane German Philosophy Workshop (TGPW) is a forum for the discussion of contemporary work that engages with the German philosophical tradition (broadly understood). We invite speakers from around the country who work in the German tradition to present on their current research.
Founded in 2023 by myself and Nicolas Day, TGPW is an opportunity for speakers to give presentations with much more depth than conferences usually allow.
Talks are held on select Fridays from 4:00-6:00 pm in Rogers Memorial Chapel on Tulane’s campus. Talks are not read-ahead and generally consist of a 45-minute to 1-hour presentation followed by an extended discussion.
Calls for abstracts go out on PhilEvents mid summer for the fall semester series and mid fall for the spring semester series.
